About Gan Chabad Preschool
Recognizing the formative importance of early education, Gan Chabad Preschool, for 2-4 year olds offers a full Jewish and academic curriculum in a pervasively warm, gentle and nurturing setting. In its sixth year, Gan Chabad Preschool’s open and spacious loft is bright, modern and equipped with state of the art equipment carefully chosen to inspire students’ imagination and encourage their budding independence.
Gan Chabad Preschool strives to nurture each child’s innate sense of wonder and curiosity. Firmly believing that the cornerstone for all cognitive learning is a nurtured sense of self worth, the school consistently celebrates each child’s individual creative expressions and their unique strengths. Teachers at Gan Chabad Preschool are well known for their unique blend of personal and professional warmth that have become a trademark of a Chabad Preschool in New York City and beyond.
The preschool’s classrooms are full of opportunities for learning, socialization and growth. Judaic and academic themes are mutually-reinforcing, and cover all the various domains that complete an early childhood education: Literacy, pre-Math, Social Sciences, Sciences and Art. At Gan Chabad Preschool, Jewish learning is not simply a subject. The warmth, meanings and practices of Judaism are an integral part of each day. Jewish songs, holidays and traditions are taught in meaningful and joyous ways, inspiring a deep-rooted Jewish connection in each of the students.
Today, Gan Chabad Preschool has reached capacity with thirty three children.
Plans are underway for the opening of a Pre K (4’s) class in September to accommodate the growing need in our community.

About Chabad of North Brooklyn
Chabad of North Brooklyn was founded 7 years ago under the leadership of Rabbi Kuti and Esty Feldman, to serve the needs of the Jewish community in North Williamsburg & Greenpoint. One year later Rabbi Shmuly & Devora Leah Lein joined the team to help with the growing Chabad center.
Now, with Shabbat & Holiday Services, Weekly Shabbat dinners, Holiday programming, a Lending Library, Gan Chabad Preschool, Chabad Hebrew School and Mommy & Me- Tot Shabbat, Chabad of North Brooklyn has grown to be a full service Jewish center for the local Jewish community while still remaining a warm and open home for every Jew.
